This project, aimed at helping local residents onto the property ladder, includes 29 affordable apartments designed to meet the growing demand for accessible housing in Warrington. Our advanced Category 2 sprinkler system, seamlessly integrated into the building’s structure, prioritises safety and protection for residents while aligning with the sustainable construction practices used throughout the development. Our sprinkler system at Parkside Place is fully compliant with BS 9251:2021, the British Standard for residential and domestic fire sprinkler systems. This standard sets rigorous criteria for fire protection, ensuring that the system is capable of delivering a minimum 30-minute water supply, giving residents ample time to evacuate in the event of an emergency. Equipped with a dedicated pump and tank, the system has been designed and installed to meet the specific requirements for water flow rate, pressure, and coverage outlined in BS 9251:2021.
