Description
Burley Road is a new build development in Leeds consisting of two residential blocks, providing 110 residential units in total. Base Fire Sprinklers were appointed to carry out the design, supply, and installation of the sprinkler system to each block. Each system was fed off the domestic water supply which was sized using the sprinkler design calculations carried out by our in-house design team. Block A was fed via a dedicated underground sprinkler main which terminated at the bottom of the mechanical riser.
Base Fire Sprinklers installed dedicated sprinkler risers in each block to feed the upper floors. In line with BS9251:2014, the mechanical specification and the fire strategy, sprinklers were provided in all apartments and the plant rooms.
Having forged a solid relationship, we embarked on our inaugural project with a new client, and since then, we have collaboratively accomplished several more projects together.
